Certified Safety on the Rails: RAIL Sealing Elements and Fire Protection Kits
With the introduction of the RAIL sealing elements and fire protection kits, CONTA-CLIP now offers a standards-compliant complete solution designed to meet the highest safety requirements for trains and rail vehicles.
The Core Component: RAIL Sealing Elements (HL3)
Our new sealing elements (KDS-DE-RAIL and KDS-DEG-RAIL) are made from a special TPE material certified according to DIN EN 45545-2 for the highest hazard level, HL3. This highly flame-retardant material accommodates a wide range of cable diameters and ensures maximum safety in the event of fire.
At the same time, our KDS system continues to build on proven mechanical reliability. Our products have already been successfully tested in accordance with DIN EN 61373 for shock and vibration resistance and easily withstand the demanding continuous stresses encountered in railway vehicles.
Fire Protection Kits: Reliable Fire Barriers (E30)
Critical transition points in trains often require more than highly flame-retardant materials; they demand a genuine structural fire barrier. With our new fire protection kits, customers can achieve E30 fire resistance classification (30 minutes) in accordance with DIN EN 45545-3.
